Patriot Connect: Recruitment and Admissions – Action Required for Wave 2 Users

Dear Colleagues, 

Wave 2 of Patriot Connect Release 2: Recruitment and Admissions will launch soon, with undergraduate, Washington Scholars Program (WSP), and Mason Korea applications opening on August 1 and graduate applications opening on August 15. To prepare end-users for go-live, Wave 2 training will begin soon. 

Wave 2 users, please complete the required actions below to ensure you receive the appropriate training. Users for all other waves, this message is for your awareness only. 

• Complete Wave 2 Patriot Connect training. Check your “Action Items” in MasonLEAPS to see your assigned Patriot Connect training(s). This includes a self-guided introductory training (no registration required) as well as live, instructor-led training, held July 14-31 (advance registration required; see guidance below). 
• Consider optional training. Enroll in the instructor-led course “Interacting with Prospects and Applicants” to learn about communicating with prospective students and tracking interactions in Patriot Connect.

Training Registration

Follow the instructions below to secure your spot for Wave 2 training: 

1. Log into MasonLEAPS. 
2. On the Home tab, scroll to Your Action Items. 
3. Click on the green Your Action Items heading to expand the list of all assigned action items. 
   1. Note: Please ensure you review all items on the list, which may span multiple pages, to locate assigned Patriot Connect training. 
4. If you have action items for Patriot Connect instructor-led training, click on the Select Session button and register for your preferred session date and time.
