Patriot Connect Micro-Trainings for Application Reviewers and Application Processors

Dear Patriot Connect Users,

Welcome back to campus; we hope you had a great summer!

In case you missed it, Patriot Connect Release 2: Recruitment and Admissions officially launched on May 1. This means that Patriot Connect will be your new workspace for managing all new work related to application cycles, cases, and events based on the phased roll-out schedule.

New Patriot Connect training opportunities are available for application reviewers and application processors who weren’t able to attend live training sessions in April or July or would just like to refresh their knowledge and skills in Patriot Connect.

How to get started:

• Complete the required introductory training: Check your “Action Items” in MasonLEAPS for the assigned, self-guided Patriot Connect: Recruitment and Admissions Introduction Training. Be sure to review all pages of your “Action Items” list to locate the assigned training.
• Attend a Patriot Connect micro-training session: Beginning August 18, 30-minute instructor-led sessions with focused content specifically for application reviewers and application processors will be offered twice weekly through October 15. Watch the Microsoft Teams Patriot Connect Training Community for training announcements, then register in MasonLEAPS for these virtual sessions hosted in Microsoft Teams. To register:
  1. Log into MasonLEAPS.
  2. From the Learning menu, select Events Calendar.
  3. Click on the session you wish to attend to view the session details.
  4. Click the Request button to register.
